The Evance R9000 is available only through EVANCE's global network of partners who are carefully selected for their reputation for high integrity and customer care. They are fully trained by EVANCE in all aspects of siting and installation and have all the required local knowledge about incentives and regulations. RUSHBROOK Renewables is an Evance Wind Turbine Reseller and is working to become a certified installer. We work closely with Evance to ensure that our clients receive the high standard of installation and comissioning that is expected of an EVANCE certified installer.

The Evance R9000 5kW turbine is one of the most efficient small wind turbines available. The turbine is fully accredited under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS), meaning it's eligible for Feed-in-Tariffs. Due to its ability to generate energy at low wind speeds and continue generating at high winds, the Evance R9000 can provide the maximum yield possible; meaning reduced energy bills and carbon footprint, as well as good return on investment. Evance R9000 Specifications

The EVANCE R9000 is 3 bladed upwind self regulating wind turbine which is rated at 5kW @ 12m/s (26.8mph). At an Annual Mean Wind Speed (AMWS) of 5m/s it provides an Annual Energy Yield of 9,012 kWh when measured under IEC and BWEA standards. The R9000 conforms to IEC 61400 to Class II - AMWS up to 8.5m/s (19mph).

It has a cut in wind speed of 2.5m/s and due to its Patented Reactive Pitch™ Control, can operate continuously up to its survival windspeed of 60m/s (134mph.

The EVANCE R9000 has a rotor diameter of 5.4m with fully optimised aerofoil blades ensuring maximum yield and minimum noise. The blades are Glass Fibre Reinforced Composite, low reflection, UV and anti-erosion coatings. Its generator has a patented brushless direct drive air-cored high efficiency Permanent Magnet Alternator and operates without the need for a gearbox, providing a low noise level . Its emergency braking system, the patented Automatic ElectroBrake™ (with manual control for servicing) has no moving parts.

The 300kg turbine has a passive yaw control utilising a tail vane and rotor, on towers varying from 9m to 18m. An hydraulically operated tower is available to simplify installation and maintenance operations, or if required the traditional guyed and gin pole tilt systems are also available.

The EVANCE R9000 is designed for a 20 year minimum life with defined service intervals to maintain efficient and trouble free service. To provide peace of mind the R9000 comes with a five year manufacturer's part's warranty.
